Airlines across India and West Asia have begun restoring flight operations after recent disruptions, with carriers issuing fresh advisories and asking passengers to check flight status before heading to airports.
IndiGo said it has resumed flights to and from Dubai after authorities cleared operations. The airline said services restarted from 1600 hrs local time on March 18, following guidance from the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. IndiGo plans to operate scheduled flights listed for March 19, subject to safety conditions and regulatory approvals. The airline asked passengers to check their flight status online and said a support desk is available to assist affected travellers.
Air India ramps up services
Air India said it will operate 48 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region on March 19. The airline, along with Air India Express, is increasing services as operations gradually stabilise.
SpiceJet adds more flights
SpiceJet said it has already operated over 100 flights and will add more services between the UAE and India in the coming days. The airline also advised passengers to confirm flight timings before leaving for the airport.
